How
much disk space is available? CMail Server should
have access to at least 10Mb of hard disk space at
all times. If the amount of space drops below this
level, CMail will suspend incoming mail services until
the amount of free space is above the minimum limit.

Server is unable to authenticate NT Users:
Is
CMail Server installed and running as a service? In
order to authenticate users against the NT Users Database,
CMail must be installed and running as a service. This
gives the application the permissions that it needs to
communicate with the NT database and authenticate users.
To make sure this is the case, open Control Panel, Services
in NT and locate 'CMail Server'. Highlight the service
and click 'Stop'. When the service has stopped, click
the 'Start' button to restart the
Has the users password been changed
in CMail Server? When an NT User is imported into
CMail and you look at the User Properties menu, the user
will appear to have a two character password **. This password
tells the CMail Server to authenticate the user against
the NT database and not the local system. If this password
is changed for any reason, CMail will not pass authentication
to the NT database and will try authenticate the user itself
resulting in a login failure. You should re-import the
user into CMail Server.
